Sleepwalking: Activities During Sleep
What is sleepwalking
Sleepwalking is a dissociative state of mind in which one gets up during sleep to perform motor activities without being aware of one's actions.
Sleepwalkers can act as if they are looking for lost objects, or have any other attitude that reflects any other kind of situation that you would react to if you were conscious.
The encephalograms indicate that sleepwalking occurs during the deep sleep phase. The sleepwalker may also speak during sleep and it is rare for this disorder to cause injury.
In cases where it appears sporadically, it is not considered as a picture of severe mental disorder.
Sleepwalking is the name given to the person suffering from sleepwalking.
